Overview:
We are hiring for a dedicated company seeking a experienced and dynamic Director to lead the Healthcare Technology Management team. This role is critical in managing medical equipment, enhancing team performance, and driving process improvements to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing robust policies and procedures for biomedical equipment management and support services. This includes ensuring that all medical equipment is maintained in accordance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. A crucial part of this role is maintaining accurate inventory records, which is vital for efficient operations and effective budgeting.
- Collaboration is essential in this position, as the Director will work closely with regional leaders to strategize on various aspects of medical equipment management, including installation, cybersecurity measures, and technical support.
- The introduction of new technologies to improve both patient experience and clinical outcomes will also be a priority, requiring a forward-thinking approach and a willingness to embrace innovation.
- The Director will foster a culture of professional development within the team, providing learning opportunities that enhance the skills and capabilities of team members. This includes mentoring staff, facilitating training sessions, and encouraging continuous education in the rapidly evolving field of healthcare technology.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and have a minimum of 5 years of management experience specifically in biomedical services within a large healthcare setting.
- A strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards, including those set by CIHQ, DNV, and JACHO, is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should demonstrate proven business acumen, particularly in budget management and financial oversight. Experience leading high-performing teams is critical, with a focus on mentoring and developing both new and existing talent.
- Additionally, executive-level interaction experience with C-suite leaders is required, as the Director will play a key role in strategic decision-making and organizational leadership.
MUST HAVE:
- The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of clinical devices.
- Experience managing biomedical services in a large healthcare setting, as well as experience in managing healthcare technology services, is required.
- The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (CIHQ, DNV, JACHO) and must have executive-level experience, including interaction with C-suite leaders.
Position Summary:
In this leadership role, the Director will oversee the overall management of the assigned account, ensuring that operational and fiscal performance aligns with the organization’s mission and goals. This includes overseeing the supervision of clinical staff regarding program management and regulatory compliance, project management, and capital planning. The Director will also be responsible for managing client/customer relations, ensuring satisfaction and engagement with services provided.
The role encompasses financial oversight and subcontracting responsibilities, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions that drive financial performance. Recruitment, training, and development of staff will be a significant focus, as the Director works to build a high-performing team that excels in delivering quality healthcare technology management services. Additionally, the Director will implement strategies for organic sales growth, identifying opportunities to expand services and enhance revenue.
