BRIEF DESCRIPTION:Our mission at Visiting Ancillary Services is to be the premier provider of ancillary services to the long-term care industry and to provide the highest quality of low-cost services from our neighborhood clinics. Job Summary: This will be a dual role encompassing office work and dental assisting Major Duties & Responsibilities:Sterilization:
  •   Ensures that the sterile room is clean
  •   Ensures that dental instruments are being sterilized 
  •   Maintains documentation and required logs
  •   Tracks/Monitors Spore Testing
  •   Ensures that equipment is working properly
OSHA/HIPAA Compliance:
  • Maintains logs
  • Tracks employees OSHA/HIPAA/CPR classes
  • Supplies/Equipment
  • Orders dental supplies/equipment
  • Tracks usage and expiration dates
  • Coordinates equipment repair
  • Tracks denture cases
  • Maintains equipment log
Dental Assistant:
  • Assists in the in-house clinic 1/day/per week
  • May be needed in the field to cover for sickness/illness
  • Other duties as assigned
