The Part-Time Showroom Usher is responsible for providing superior guest service to patrons while they are attending events in our casino showroom. Duties include assisting guests with seating, attending to any guest questions or disputes and resolving problems in accordance with casino policies and procedures as directed. Works closely with internal departments in a positive and professional manner, takes direction from the Showroom Coordinator as needed and ensures guests have a pleasurable experience. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department director. This position starts at $16.32/hr and moves to the standard $16.88/hr at the successful completion of a 90-day orientation period.

Education:
  • A high School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

Experience & Requirements:
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills

Physical Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to stand and sit for extended lengths of time
  • Must be able to read ticket information in a dimly lit area
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen
  • Upon offer must obtain a Class IIIB Gaming License ($155 - 200)
  • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts including day, swing, graveyard and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
