Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and skilled Digital Painting Instructor to join our team. The primary software used for this course will be Procreate. As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the artistic journey of our members. Your expertise in Procreate and digital painting techniques will inspire and guide learners as they explore their creativity. Responsibilities:Curriculum Development:
  • Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum for digital painting classes using Procreate.
  • Create engaging lesson plans, assignments, and projects that cater to students of varying skill levels.
  • Incorporate fundamental visual development principles, including composition, color theory, and lighting.
Instruction:
  • Conduct interactive and informative classes, potentially both in-person and online.
  • Teach students how to use Procreate effectively for creating digital art.
  • Provide constructive feedback on students’ work, encouraging growth and improvement.
Portfolio Review:
  • Evaluate students' portfolios throughout each course session.
  • Assess the quality of students' digital artwork, creativity, and technical skills.
  • Ensure that portfolios align with the standards set for the class.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Procreate and other relevant digital art software.
  • Strong 2D drawing skills with an emphasis on visual development principles.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback professionally and respectfully.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 16 years old (as part of our application process).
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Prior experience teaching or mentoring in digital art is a plus.
