What You'll Do:

The Boochcraft Sales Analyst is responsible for overseeing essential tasks across a range of disciplines to ensure the continued success of Boochcraft’s Sales Department. This position requires both strong interpersonal skills, good bev-alcohol industry knowledge and strong analytical skills. This job will require strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance and prioritize tasks across a range of functions and disciplines.

  • Sales Operations Analysis
  • Building Dashboards and Analyzing Data
  • Sales and Production Forecasting
  • Ability to Analyze Neilsen and Spins Data to Create Compelling Selling Stories 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sales operations, operational documents and incoming communications (info@, ext. 5)
  • Build/Validate/review rolling 18-month forecasts
  • Build/Validate/review monthly unit and volume forecasts
  • Build monthly dashboards to clearly illustrate business trends and highlight areas of opportunity and potential threats to long-term business growth
  • Coordinate with production to manage forecasted volume to match actuals from wholesaler orders both in real time and via long range (18 month rolling forecasts)
  • Cross department communication with clear and concise outputs outlining objectives, tracking to goals, and logic behind changes and course corrections
  • Extract, cleanse, and analyze data to generate informed business reports, drive decisions, track KPI’s, and aid in company growth strategies 
  • Monitor distributor depletions, days-on-hand, rate of sale and inventory health to advise on any necessary order adjustments and shipment dates 
  • Assist sales managers with building accurate and opportunistic monthly orders for wholesalers that reflect local market conditions and growth potential
  • Contribute forecasts, order insights, and market feedback to the Weekly Planning Meeting 
  • Manage build allocation documents for all seasonal and limited releases. Hold sales managers accountable to executing against the allocations submitted
  • Ensure product + pricing integrity in ERP system
  • Coordinate with Compliance team to ensure pricing, approvals, registrations are accurate and timely in all territory’s products are distributed
  • Set up new wholesalers in our VIP reporting platform, ensure data integrity and oversee back-end management of the SRS Supplier Site 
  • Aid the Logistics Coordinator in enforcing distributor ordering policies
  • Evaluate and maintain best possible freight pricing with Operations team and seek efficiencies and savings when building/reviewing orders
  • Manage and maintain data integrity via key software platforms (Lilypad, VIP).
  • Leverage functionality within LilyPad to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate on NIFs w/sales team, getting item codes into central docs for NAM/chains
  • Build and maintain accurate Chain Mandate and Authorization documents that are regularly updated and shared to ensure increased execution at wholesaler level 
  • Track CPC spending against ABP commitments. Review and validate all billback submissions for wholesaler incentives for accuracy. 
  • Develop tracking documentation to measure effectiveness and ROI on incentives in short, medium, and long term that allow Sales Managers to make more informed decisions when building and planning incentives.

What You'll Need:


  • Key Attributes: Friendly nature, punctual, highly motivated, self starter, problem solver, strong communication and interpersonal skills, extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Education: A BS or a BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a relevant field is preferred, however 5+ years of sales management experience is acceptable. An MSc or an MA will be a strong differentiator and preference will be given to those who either have formal education and/or hands-on experience in the field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years previous beverage industry experience is required.
  • Communication: The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with strong execution skills.  
  • Data Analysis: Must demonstrate a willingness to develop analytical skills, change management, and financial acumen.
  • Specialized Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, iOS mobile apps as well as other necessary project management software. 
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift moderately heavy equipment (a minimum of 45 lbs.) and operate within safety standards.
We expect this position to pay between $70k to $74k.
