Position Summary:
- As an Early Intervention Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of children ranging from birth to 3 years of age and provide EI classes in groups of 3 or more.
- As the Lead Teacher, you will be overseeing the Center Based Program which emphasizes the basic skill domains according to basic principles of child growth and development needed to succeed in life.
- You will give children opportunities that allow them to make their own experiences in a safe and nonjudgmental environment and create experiences that are developmentally age appropriate but chronological age sensitive to support them as they move up the developmental ladder.
- Your curriculum will consist of intervention activities that promote development in areas such as physical, cognitive, social, emotional, communication/language, and self-help/feeding.
- The EI Specialist will additionally be responsible for daily notes, assessments, and progress reports for all clients.
