IT Security Specialist

ITOCHU Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for an IT Systems Administrator at our Alta corporate office. As the IT Systems Administrator, you will be a dynamic contributor to the IT Services team. Your responsibilities include administrating and monitoring of company servers, backups, workstations, networks and more. This position will be responsible for coordinating upgrade initiatives, including upgrading systems with the latest versions of software, the rollout of new systems, and training.  ITOCHU  Building Products is the largest leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America. IBP is comprised of Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, and US Premier Tube Mills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the setup, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers.
• Monitor and maintain applications including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and SQL Server.
• Assist in the creation and management of deployment objects for new and existing software using SCCM.
• Monitor and maintain cloud applications such as Azure AD and Office365.
• Communicate system issues to other IT team members and management.
• Create and maintain system specific documentation and follow ticketing procedures.
• Administer and maintain computer systems and policies.
• Support/troubleshoot server and application issues and coordinate with vendors as needed for resolution.
• Provide additional IT infrastructure support and project assistance as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years prior relevant experience OR 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Industry certification such as MCSE or Qualified work experience.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows 2016+ Server operating systems.
• 2+ years administrating Active Directory and related services.
• 2+ years administrating Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), experience with Intune a plus.
• PowerShell and WMI experience.
• VMWare ESXi and VCenter experience.
• Strong network analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle and own critical issues through to resolution.
• Excellent communication, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of conducting business.
• Experience working in a network and IT system environment, including protocols (TCP/IP), equipment and services (DNS).

What Sets You Apart 

• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification.
• MSCE.
