Busy Podiatric office looking to hire 2 Part-time Medical Assistants. Prefer PMAC Podiatric x-ray certified. Pay is commensurate with experience.  Approximately  25-28  hours a week. Early day,  Late day  and Evenings are required , along with rotating Saturday mornings.   A flexible schedule is necessary. We prefer experience but will train the right candidate. 

Medical assistants are responsible for: 
  • Bringing patients back into exam rooms.
  • Entering inpatient data into the EMR.
  • Preparing the patient for the doctor.
  • Assist the doctor when needed. 
  • X-Ray's (Must be Certified to take x-rays)
  • Assist in Casting and removing casts, drawing up injections for the physician.
  • Assist in sterile procedures.
  • Learning durable medical equipment applications.
  • FMLA and STD paperwork.
  • Medication prior authorizations for patients. 
  • Among other duties.
