Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues related to various vehicle systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles, particularly GM/FORD models. The Automotive Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their technical skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality service.

Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair and replace automotive electrical systems, ensuring all components function correctly.
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs on various vehicle systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
  • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Certification from an accredited automotive program is desirable but not required.
