Summary:  
  • The Mitigation Manager will oversee both our Water Mitigation and Contents departments. 
  • They will implement processes and strategies necessary to produce specific jobs related to but not limited to water, smoke, and/or mold damage. 
  • Work with respective Project managers/ supervisors to schedule and balance workflow daily as emergencies take place in order to respond and service as many of our customers as possible. Setting timelines and goals for certain projects produced and managing job costs to achieve budgeted projections. 
  • Establish a broad base of trained technicians in order to respond to various types of jobs of all sizes. 
  • Keeping the department up to date with today’s technologies, equipment, and tools in order to stay competitive with the competition and develop and maintain relationships with adjusters and clients to grow with the division.

 
Responsibilities:
 
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Required to participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Scope and sketch all large-scale water losses and enter information into Xactimate.
  • Oversees all aspects of processes, protocols, and procedures of Water mitigation, Mold remediation, and contents pack/clean/store.
  • Manage and supervise multiple crews and individuals.
  • Hire and train new personnel. Review, approve, and submit timecards.
  • Ensure all projects are documented, photographed, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain job cost reporting. Maintain budget cost and profitability as set by the department.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Managerial or Supervisory experience, preferably in Water Mitigation or Contents.
  • Minimum 2 years in Water Mitigation or Contents experience.
  • IICRC certification is a plus.
  • Xactimate experience is preferable.
  • Excellent communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
