Our OBGYN practice is seeking to enhance our clinical staff with the addition of a new member to our dynamic team.

Some of the primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Obtaining vital signs and chief complaint while updating the patient’s medical chart.
  • Precision and attention to detail in recording health history.
  • Collecting lab specimens and conducting point of care testing. 
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and apply critical thinking skills.
  • Assisting providers with exams and patient care. 
  • Setting up for and assisting providers with in-office procedures. 
  • Anticipating the care needs of a patient (within the scope of your practice) based on presentation.
  • Monitoring in-office supply and reporting when items are needed. 
  • Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and workspaces. 
  • Educating and empowering patients throughout the medical process.
  • Collaborating with your teammates to provide and receive the support necessary to succeed.
  • Various tasks at the direction of your supervisor based on the needs of the clinic.

Qualifications that make you a stand-out Candidate: 
  • Medical Assistant Certification/Registration required. 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on care needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • OBGYN experience is a plus but not mandatory for someone who is willing and eager to learn. 
  • Athena EMR experience a plus.
