Opportunity Overview:

My client, a well-established dental organization with multiple locations throughout Illinois, is seeking a dedicated and talented Oral Surgeon to join their growing team. This position offers the chance to step into a well-established referral network, ensuring a full schedule in a short period due to the limited availability of Oral Surgeons in the area.

This role allows Oral Surgeons to handle all phases of cases, from complex hybrid cases to routine local/third molar extractions. The patient base is approximately 50% Medicaid, with all Medicaid patients being under 21. This offers a unique opportunity to serve underserved communities while still achieving financial success. Current Oral Surgeons within the organization earn between $700,000 to $1,000,000 annually with a moderate to busy schedule.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Daily Rate: $1500 - $2000/day based on experience.
  • Collections: 45% of collections, with collection rates consistently between 95-98%.
  • Support Staff: 4 sedation-certified assistants dedicated to each surgeon.
  • Case Load: 6-10 surgeries per day and 10-12 consults, depending on provider preferences.
  • Earnings Potential: Annual earnings ranging from $500,000 to $900,000+ based on provider scheduling preferences.
  • Procedures: Extractions (especially third molars), implants, bone grafts, and a high volume of sedation cases.
  • Parking: Private off-street parking is available at the Chicago location.
  • Relocation Assistance: Available if needed.

Schedule Options:

Full-Time candidates can choose between a 4-day workweek of either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, with flexible hours from 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM. Each surgeon is supported by a dedicated team of four Oral Surgery assistants, ensuring efficient and focused care delivery.
