Rudy’s Can’t Fail Cafe is a busy, counter-service restaurant near the Pixar campus in Emeryville, 
Previous restaurant experience is required.

The Role: 
  • We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused individual to work with our team as a Cashier/Server. 
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Good servers make great tips at Rudy's.
  • Tips are included in the hourly wage estimate.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing friendly, welcoming customer service to our many loyal customers. 
  • Job duties include taking guests' orders, and entering them into the Toast POS system. Making and serving beverages including espresso drinks, soft drinks, juices, beer, and wine.
  • Have a positive attitude and work well with all staff on a daily basis.
  • Counter service Dine-In and Take Out orders as well as online orders.
  • Ensure all guests receive great service from start to finish.

Requirements:
  • A valid CA food handlers card is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
  • Within 30 days of hire cashiers are required to be certified with the ABC Responsible Beverage Server program
