Diesel & Gas Garage LLC (DGG) is actively looking for a Diesel Technician to become a valued member of our team.   If you are passionate about delivering high quality results in a fast paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
 
Diesel Technicians: 
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. 
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 4 + years of experience in diesel diagnostic & repair.
  •  Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
  •  Excellent time management, written and communication skills.
  •  Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  •  Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills, ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations and concerns in a positive manner.
  •  Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  •  Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required tools.
  •  Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  •  Perform company guide lined inspections, repairs, and replacements on customers equipment, as well as filing warrantable repairs by entering accurate information on the condition, cause, and correction into our maintenance system.
  •  Identify parts needed and best possible solutions for repairs following DOT regulations.
  •  Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all customers equipment, which includes everything from tractors and trailers to road trucks and shop equipment.
  •  Diagnose, maintenance, repairs and replace major tractor advanced engine components, driveline components, advanced HVAC systems and communication equipment.
  •  Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
  •  Possess and maintain certifications.
  •  Willing to travel as needed.
  •  Have reliable transportation.
  •  Have and maintain a good driving record - report infractions to management as they occur.
  •  This is  a DRUG FREE work area.  Pass random drug test as requested by Management.
  •  Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay: 
  •  Salary $14 – $35 hr TBD based on experience.
  •  Health Insurance  - Company pays 50% after 90 day probationary period.
  •  Vision & Dental - Company pays 100% after 90 day probationary period.
  •  13-days Vacation/PTO/Sick within your first year.
  •  5 Holidays. 
 
 Schedule: 
  •  Mon – Friday 8 am - 6 pm.
  •  Saturdays – every other Saturday 8 am to 2 pm.
