Job Responsibilities:(additional responsibilities may be assigned by Head of The Department)
  • Perform all tasks as required by our training methods. 
  • Ensure safety of all employees working around the area and report any near miss, safety incidences and potential hazards to a supervisor. 
  • To operate all aspects of the machine with the end result being a uniform bevel. 
  • Can adjust tooling to optimize the finishing of the bevel to the customer specification.
  • Understands how to operate control panels and v-roll lines.
Skills required: 
  • Ability to multi-task. 
  • Ability to run control panels and v-roll lines. 
  • Good communication with co-workers and other departments. 
  • Knowledge of the work flow of the shop. 
  • Attention to detail and to make sure that the bevel is without any defects before the pipe exits the machine.
  • Knowledge of the tooling and how to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. 
  • Ability to change over the machine to any size that may be required.
  • Bilingual.
Physical Requirements: 
  • Long hours standing.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to heat.
  • Constantly moving.
  • Work in tight spaces.
  • Crawl.
