Job Summary:
The Manufacturing plant systems analyst will be responsible for managing and setting up batch records within the ERP system, ensuring accurate alignment between sales orders and work orders, and overseeing internal supply chain functions. This role works closely with the production, scheduling, and supply chain teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:Batch Record Management:
  • Set up and maintain batch records within the ERP system, ensuring all production data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with production teams to validate and update batch records according to work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing regulations and company policies in maintaining batch documentation.

Order Verification & Coordination:
  • Review and reconcile sales orders against work orders to ensure accuracy in production planning.
  • Collaborate with the sales and production teams to resolve any discrepancies between sales and work orders.
  • Ensure timely communication of updates and changes to all relevant departments.

Supply Chain Oversight:
  • Review internal supply chain process by coordinating with procurement, inventory management, and logistics teams.
  • Assist in scheduling production runs based on sales forecasts, order volume, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory prior to creations and completions of batches -may need to count inventory and review supply chain and work to optimize products and materials for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

ERP System Management:
  • Serve as the key point of contact for all ERP-related tasks related to production, sales orders, and supply chain.
  • Regularly update and maintain ERP data to reflect real-time production status, material availability, and order progress.

Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with scheduling, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination across departments.
  • Generate reports and analyses based on production and supply chain data, providing insights to leadership for process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production plant by identifying areas for efficiency and cost-saving.

Qualifications:
  • AA or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field or relevant experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably in a batch record or supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), with strong data management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-departmental coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in the food production industry or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for production and supply chain management.
