Earthwork/Grading Superintendent

We are currently seeking a (Min 5 Yrs) Experienced Grading Earthwork Superintendent, who is Capable and has the Knowledge of the Areas of Excavation Dirt Work, Grade Work, Surveying, and Finalizing Excavation Work. Must have the Experience of Reading Plans and Performing Tasks to the Plan Specifications. Must have the Experience of Utilizing GPS, Laser Control, and the Operations of Heavy Duty Machinery. (Motor Grader, Scraper, Water Pull, Dozer, and Finish Blade).Must be able to meet Deadlines and Complete Projects on time. Must be a Strong Leader and able to Manage Time and Crew Wisely.
Responsibilities:
- Tracking and Managing Employee Time and Material on the Job
- Completing Daily Safety Inspections and Weekly Equipment Reports
- Administer and Ensure Compliance Safety Protocols
- Oversee Grading Crew to ensure Project is constructed according to the approved plans
- Provide Leadership and Direction to Grading Crew while Emphasizing Safety, Quality, and Production
- Preform Weekly Tailgate Meetings
- Ensure the Proper Operation and Maintenance of all Equipment
- Supervise and Monitor Project Progress, and Ensure Safe and Quality Control
Qualifications:
- OSHA Certification
- Working Knowledge of applicable standards, specifications, codes, regulations, and laws
- Proficiency in Construction Management Software
- Strong background in Management and Supervising Experience
- Knowledge and Experience with GPS systems
- Experience with Dozer Operations
- Ability to read Blueprints and Schematics
- Knowledge of Construction estimating and Quality Control practices

Discretionary Bonus May Apply
Salary: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 a Year
