Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality medical imaging procedures using MRI technology. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during imaging procedures.

Duties:

  • Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize medical imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images, ensuring high-quality results for accurate evaluation.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Maintain patient records and document all imaging procedures accurately in compliance with medical terminology standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss images and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and participate in continuous education to enhance skills.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Experience:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
  • Certification in MRI technology is preferred, along with relevant experience in medical imaging.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential for effective patient care and accurate imaging results.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and CT imaging is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients and healthcare team members effectively.
