  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Saturday as needed 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

JOB OVERVIEW:Scrap metal yard located in North East, PA seeks an Equipment Operator/General Laborer to handle day to day tasks in the yard. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Move material using various forms of heavy equipment
  • Creating and maintaining all outbound documents
  • Sorting various metals by grade and preparing outbound loads
  • Material purchase entries, including weighing truck in/out, verifying accounts/prices
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with yard projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail as well as an efficient, hardworking, and dependable attitude.
  • General Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, are flexible and a team player
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Heavy Equipment Operation experience desired; will train right candidate
