Nurse Practitioner Dermatology

Dermatology Department:Middletown Medical’s Dermatology Department are experts in the medical and surgical treatment of people with conditions and diseases of the skin, mucous membranes, hair, and nails. We care for common skin problems, including acne, acne scars, contact dermatitis, keratoses, moles, rosacea, sun-damaged skin, molluscum and warts. We also specialize in treating a wide range of unusual and complex conditions and diseases. The team is led by Doctor and NP with ironclad reputation as one of the most trusted skin care specialists in New York.
Collaborative Work Environment:
- Teamwork: Employees generally work in a collaborative environment with teamwork and communication among physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Interdisciplinary Approach: There may be an interdisciplinary approach to care, integrating various specialties to address patient needs holistically.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations for Dermatological conditions.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and support, including managing chronic conditions and medication counseling.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus in Dermatology or a related field.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of NY.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Dermatology or a related field.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Dermatology practice.
Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour with productivity bonus that gives high earning potential.
