 Qualifications:
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and independently determine how to manufacture the part.
  • Must be able to use and read measuring tools.
  • Must be able to set up and run manually operated mills, lathes, grinders (cylindrical, surface, and Blanchard), saws, gear hobbing machines, honing machines, jib borer, key seater, and drill press.
  • Read and use machinist tools.

Set up and run the following:
  • Manual Lathe.
  • Cylindrical grinder.
  • Surface grinder.
  • Blanchard grinder.
  • Jig borer.
  • Gear hobbing machine.
  • Honing machine.
  • Saws.
  • Key seater.
 Requirements:
  • Machine Shop experience preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Applicant should have a High School Degree.
  • College or Technical diploma a plus (or the years equivalent to on-the-job training).
