Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketing/Advertising Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in implementing marketing and advertising initiatives, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall success of campaigns and events. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to grow their marketing skills while supporting a fast-paced department.
Key Responsibilities:Tactical Coordination:
- Archive and organize advertising materials for easy reference and retrieval.
- Support the execution of marketing and advertising campaigns, events, and special projects.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling, document preparation, and communications.
- Compile reports and marketing collateral as assigned.
- Manage supply orders, maintain inventory, and reorder materials as needed.
- Print and distribute promotional materials, advertising content, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with internal teams to plan and deliver project goals.
- Assist company personnel in achieving marketing objectives.
- Communicate with management about departmental activities, issues, and opportunities.
- Ensure the work area remains clean, secure, and organized.
- Stay updated on industry trends and attend team meetings.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Quark Express and Photoshop is a plus.
- Experience with customer service practices and marketing technologies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Office-based position with no significant hazards.
- Primarily sedentary work; occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and assembling materials.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Timely and accurate completion of tasks in line with company policies.
- Strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
- Proactive communication with management regarding challenges and opportunities.
- Active contribution to the success of marketing campaigns and team initiatives.
