Role and Responsibilities:The Lead will work with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to oversee daily commissary operations. A commissary is a grocery store located on a military installation that primarily serves members of the military, their families, and authorized personnel.
  • Work with a team that primarily composed of individuals with disabilities
  • Supervises commissary employees in various locations throughout the building
  • Uses customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the public
  • Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staffing, and controlling the operations of the facility
  • Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the company
  • Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices
  • Trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned commissary staff
  • Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance
  • Opens and closes locks and unlocks facilities as needed
  • Keeps records of work completed
  • Perform any other duties as assigned 
Education and Qualifications Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver's license. 
  • Forklift Operator certification (Preferred). 
  • Minimum of (1) Years’ supervisory experience
Physical Demands:·        Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.·        Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (25) lbs.·        Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
