Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Assembler to join our production team. The role involves assembling mechanical parts, products, or subassemblies using various tools and equipment on a production line. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet quality standards and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products and equipment following blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and written procedures.
- Use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, and drills.
- Perform soldering in subassembly operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in workstations.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
- Document and report product defects, rework, or repair tasks based on engineering changes.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow directions accurately.
Required Skills:
- Ability to navigate and utilize basic computer systems.
- Proficiency with small hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Forklift operation experience.
- Previous experience in a lean production environment.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to see, speak, walk, hear, stand, sit, and use hands/fingers to handle tools.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, and stoop or bend as required.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting near moving mechanical parts.
- Seasonal temperature fluctuations: hot in summer (fans provided) and cold in winter (heaters provided).
