Seeking a Parts Manager & Customer Delivery Driver - Manufacturing Facility Machine Shop

About the Role:We're looking for an experienced Parts Manager to oversee our machine shop's inventory, manage customer deliveries, and contribute to our welding operations. This multifaceted role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your diverse skill set in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize parts inventory for our machine shop
  • Coordinate with suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Oversee parts ordering, receiving, and distribution
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming parts
  • Assist with welding tasks as needed
  • Handle customer-facing deliveries, ensuring timely and professional service
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on inventory levels and usage

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in parts management, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of welding processes and equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
