Job Highlights:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reports to Field Operations Manager.
• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effectively identify concrete mixes and determine required equipment and procedures required to achieve desired finish and performance results.
• Determine required safety procedures based on job site conditions and materials encountered.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way to ensure zero at-fault accidents and maintain job budgets.
• Be able to communicate to a Superintendent equipment and manpower needs to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure that all unsafe work practices or safety hazards encountered on the job and those reported by field crew members are immediately resolved to the Field Operations Manager.
• May be required to perform tasks from other job descriptions depending on available work and schedules, i.e. as form setter, earthwork, etc.
• Verify and approve employee timecard entries from Human Resources daily and weekly reports by noted deadline for payroll.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles.
• Keep job site, trucks, and equipment clean.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position/industry.
• Learn the position’s basic responsibilities within 30 days.
• Accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Continue your own education.
• Be able to operate small equipment such as walk-behind saw, compactor, drills, skid steer, circular saw, power trowels, laser, etc.
• Certifications – To obtain the following during employment: OSHA 10 Hour & OSHA 30 Hour.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Safety Oriented – Complete understanding of OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Supervision – Monitoring/Assessing the performance of your crew and all other Bauer Infrastructure employees to ensure productivity and safety.
• Instructing – Teaching others how to do something.
