GENERAL OVERVIEW OF KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Dunbar’s Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Program is comprised of an array of services that are delivered to children and their families across settings (school, home and community) through a team oriented, evidence supported and trauma informed approach. The Licensed Clinical Assessor is an integral part of the IBHS team. Main responsibilities include coordinating referrals, intakes, Level of Care (LOC) Assessments, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and extended assessments in collaboration with team members.
 

Organizational Accountability and Relationship:
  • To be supervised by the Administrative Director, Clinical Director, and CEO
  • Conduct individual and group supervision 
  • Engage in training support, as needed. 
  • Conduct and/or participate in monthly peer supervision. 
  • Provide clinical support to clients and assist the treatment team in securing services.
  • Review and adhere to new policies and procedures in accordance with new policies and procedures. 
  • Review new policies and procedures 
  • Completion of addendums, as needed.

  • Good interpersonal skills

Education and Experience: Have a graduate degree in ABA from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency. or
  • Have a graduate degree in psychology, ABA, social work, education, counseling or related field that includes a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and a] minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.

  • Licensed mental health clinician, including psychologists, professional counselors (LPC), marriage and family therapists (LMFT), and clinical social workers (LCSW). 
  • Three years post-Master’s experience providing mental health treatment to youth.
  • Assessment skills including a knowledge of DSM-5, clinical formulation, and best practices in trauma-informed care.
  • Ability to complete comprehensive FBA’s or willingness to become certified.
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Promise Identification Number.
  • Must have Valid ChildLine, PA Criminal History and FBI Clearances prior to commencing work.
