Mini-Hops is non-profit organization located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis in a 48,000 sq. ft. facility. Our boys’ team is 70 members strong, ranging in age from 5 to 18. With 1,500 total enrollments through recreational, teams and Academic Preschool, we are one of the largest and most state of the art facilities in the region.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics is a leader in teaching life lessons through sport to people of all abilities. Our goal is to "Maximize Impact" on our community. We are looking for candidates that have the following qualities:

  • Strong technical skills and ability to teach life lessons positively to athletes.
  • Inspire trust, confidence, and enthusiasm in the athletes, families and the organization.
  • Willing to do everything necessary to achieve coaching excellence.
  • Exhibit behavior that exemplifies the highest professional, ethical, and moral standards.
  • Recognize that all staff have a role in customer experience.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience in coaching/teaching all levels of Men’s gymnastics.
  • Good communication, clerical skills, and the ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience in all levels of competitive gymnastics (Pre-team through Level 10).
  • A willingness to teach/coach in multiple programs if needed: (boys, girls, trampoline, preschool and more).
  • A good knowledge base of progressions and techniques for coaching/teaching men’s gymnastics.
  • Ability to adapt and change to meet the needs of the athletes and co-workers.
  • Ability to work as a group with experienced coaches in an effective and collaborative way.
