The Opportunity:As the Hotel Night Auditor for Grand Casinos, you will engage in greeting Guests in a courteous and professional manner, helping with reservations, processing payment and safeguarding Guest information. Other duties include providing accurate information to Guests about services/amenities, greeting Guests at the bell station, safely and courteously, checking their luggage, ensuring optimum Guest service with each interaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring optimum Guest service.What you get to do:
- Maintain a working knowledge of Grand Casino's property and nearby special events to inform Guests as needed.
- Perform duties of the Front Desk Agent, with the additional duties of balancing reports from the previous day's shifts.
- Respond courteously and promptly to Guest requests or inquiries.
- Prepare and distribute management reports to the Hotel Administration and the Finance Department.
- Audit all Guest records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pursue the collection of incomplete forms of payment.
- Verify Guest registration forms against the hotel computer system for accuracy.
- Verify room and tax charges on Guest accounts.
- Perform other departmental duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the team.

- High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience.
- Six (6) months accounting or audit experience required.
- Three (3) months Front Desk or Rooms controller experience preferred.
- Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
- Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
- Talk and hear; ability to communicate effectively.
- See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.
- Stand, walk, run, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.
- Be able to lift and carry objects up to twenty-five (25) lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of reports, Guest records, and billing information.
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding Guest service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with Guests and provide clear information.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, balance reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to the unique challenges of the night auditor role.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the department.
