An established local bookkeeping company in Sylvania, Ohio, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full time or part-time position in our small business with a comfortable work environment. Fast-paced bookkeeping service that offers services to multiple local companies. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 Years of previous bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks online and desktop versions.
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to take direction and work in a team and independently.
- Ability to maintain confidential client information.
- Able to work 24 -32 hours per week to start.
- Complete a background check and provide references.
- General bookkeeping for various companies.
- Enter bills, checks, and payroll. ( Not actually running payroll, but knowledge entering payroll)
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Process and pay CAT and Sales Tax.
- Prepare journal entries as needed.
- Assist other team members with projects.
- Able to switch between tasks as needed.
- Assist clients with general QuickBooks questions when needed.
