Job Title: Quality Analyst - Aerospace SystemsLocation: North Charleston, SC (Onsite)
Shift: Must be available to work 1st and 2nd Shift depending on shift needs
Pay: $48.87 - $61.34
Contract Length: Approximately 6 months

Job Description:We are seeking a qualified Quality Analyst with expertise in aerospace systems to ensure adherence to Quality Management System requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills to evaluate product quality, conduct failure analysis, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis to evaluate product quality and operational processes against Quality Management System requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems utilizing knowledge of aerospace design, systems, and integration.
  • Train and mentor colleagues in Quality Management System procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of nonconformance issues and implement corrective/preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Independently develop, modify, and document actions to resolve problems and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Obtain corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes, negotiating concurrence and commitments for resolution.
  • Review and validate corrective action plans to ensure completion and effectiveness.
  • Review and approve quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
  • Guide validation of configuration management, quality procedures, and material review policies.
  • Develop software system processes to support changing industry standards.
  • Interpret industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation.
  • Create analytical reports and coordinate distribution with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Work under general direction with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.

Requirements:
  • Advanced education (e.g., Associate degree) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related work experience, 5 years of related work experience, etc.).
  • Experience with Aerospace highly preferred.
  • Material Review Board experience required.
  • Experience with Velocity and Readars preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to working onsite 100% of the time.
