Our practice is fully digital with paperless records and advanced digital radiography.
Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant who is passionate about pediatric dentistry and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a love for working with children.
Requirements:
- Active California RDA license and coronal polishing certification.
- Preferably, two years of experience in pediatric dental care.
- Greet and escort patients and parents.
- Update patient histories and note any changes.
- Perform prophylaxis and fluoride treatments.
- Take digital x-rays.
- Assist in general anesthesia cases.
- Communicate effectively with the doctor during patient visits.
- Document accurately in patient charts.
- Treat patients and parents with respect and empathy.
- Assist in restorative procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and support where needed.
- Create and explain treatment plans.
- Prepare treatment rooms and clean up.
- Educate patients and parents on proper dental care.
- Maintain stock and organize the office.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficient in Eaglesoft and other computer applications.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Experience with digital x-rays.
- Quick learner with a patient-centered approach.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes.
