Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent craftsmanship, and a keen eye for detail. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and other materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and framing.
  • Build and repair frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  • Operate various hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in all carpentry work to meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Additional certifications in carpentry or construction are a plus.
