Position Overview:
We are currently hiring full-time (38 hours weekly) and part-time barbers for our upcoming Caughlin Ranch location in Reno. Nestled at 4792 Caughlin Parkway Suite 205 within the Raley’s shopping plaza, our doors will open for business April 20th, with training slated the week prior. You must be available for training from 10 AM - 5 PM (lunch provided) or as much as possible during the dates of April 16th - 18th.
Compensation and Benefits Overview:
At Hammer & Nails - Caughlin Ranch, we champion all artists equally, providing marketing collateral to help you grow our clientele and showcasing your talent on our social media platforms. Your compensation package includes:
- Above-average base wage + generous tips, commissions and incentives
- Unlimited bonuses for positive reviews
- Health care provided at 90 days of employment
- Marketing materials provided at no cost to you to grow clientele such as a professional photo shoot with headshots to use on your social media platforms and business cards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Hold a valid/active Nevada Barbering license
- Proficient in effective communication (written and verbal)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must submit to a background check
- Demonstrate excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills

Bonus Qualifications:
- Confidence with straight razor shaves
- 1 year or more experience in a salon or barbershop
- Availability to work weekends
- Strong foundation in men’s cutting, with some knowledge of women’s cutting
