Dishwasher

The Dishwasher is responsible for washing dishes for various dining outlets of the casino. Additional duties include understanding department procedures and functions, and rinsing and washing dishes, pots, and pans while using a commercial dishwasher. Also, stocks and straightens the work area ensuring the dish room is kept neat and clean at all times. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Pay starts at $16.93/hr and increases to the standard $17.48/hr at the successful completion of a 90-day orientation period.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience & Requirements:

• Prior kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Willing to learn how to operate and maintain an automatic dishwasher.
• Willing to learn sanitation policies and procedures.
• Must have a valid Washington State food handler's card.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis.
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen.
• Upon offer must obtain Class IIIB Gaming License ($155 - $200).
• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard, and holidays.
