Lab Technician

• Lab Technician.

• Full Time.

• E-Coat Manager.

• Must possess basic chemistry, math, reading, and writing skills. 
• Repetitive light to heavy lifting of 10 to 100 lbs. 
• Observe and follow all Quality/Safety procedures. 
• Possess or be able to obtain a forklift certification (Training and Certification provided). 

• Run pretreatment and paint test every 4 hours. Maintain tank specifications as per PPG recommendations. Perform repairs on all equipment as needed. 
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment (including tanks, filters, bags, etc.). 
• Maintain inventory, including but not limited to, bag filters, chemicals, lab test solutions, buffer solutions, etc. 
• Maintain lab equipment calibration schedule. 
• Maintain all tanks associated with E-Coat. Prepare Waste Water permits and paperwork. 
• Prepare and submit was samples and paint samples. 
• Troubleshoot maintenance needs to Quality issues. 
• Run test panels and customer required testing. 
• Communicate with E-Coat Operator regarding scheduling and efficiency. Cross-train for E-Coat Department.
