Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years current Medical Technologist/MT/MLS experience
  • Very High proficiency in BLOOD BANKExperience
  • VERY HIGH PROFICIENCY IN PHLEBOTOMY/VENIPUNCTURE EXPERIENCE - WILL BE DRAWING BLOOD WITH NO BACKUP. - WILL BE WORKING ALONE
  • BECKMAN DXC700 EXPERIENCE PREFERRED and ACCESS from BECKMAN PREFERRED (Night shift takes care of all machine maintenance)
  • HIGH PROFICIENCY IN TESTING IN ALL AREAS OF LAB (MUST BE AN MT "GENERALIST") (Chemistry, hematology urinalysis, and read Gram stains/plate culture specimens in microbiology
  • Travel experience – Highly preferred
  • Meditech experience - Highly preferred
  • Ortho Gel Manual System in Blood Bank and Beckman Chemistry - Highly Preferred
  • ASCP or AMT Certification ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY/HIT THE GROUND RUNNING - Will be working alone majority of time
