Job Title: Lead Electrician (Field Operations)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrician (Field Operations) to join our team. As a Lead Electrician, you will be at the forefront of executing electrical projects, utilizing your expertise to ensure efficient operations and exceptional workmanship in the field. Your technical proficiency, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in delivering top-tier electrical services.
Responsibilities
Project Execution and Field Operations:
- Execute electrical projects in the field, leveraging your expertise to ensure precise implementation and adherence to standards.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to fulfill project requirements and objectives effectively.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on your technical proficiency to optimize project execution.
Material and Labor Management:
- Utilize your experience to manage material and labor resources efficiently for electrical projects.
- Estimate material and labor needs accurately, considering project complexities and timelines to maintain competitiveness.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of required materials for field operations.
Team Support and Collaboration:
- Support the electrical team by providing technical guidance, assistance, and expertise during field operations.
- Collaborate with team members to allocate tasks, establish priorities, and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to teamwork and professional development.
Quality Control and Safety Compliance:
- Maintain a strong focus on quality control to uphold industry standards, codes, and safety regulations in field operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Implement corrective measures and preventive actions to maintain safety standards and operational excellence.
Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and resolve issues during field operations.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to streamline material acquisition processes and meet project requirements.
- Provide clear instructions, feedback, and guidance to team members to ensure efficient project execution in the field.
Requirements
- Valid electrical license/certification (Plus)
- Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) as an electrician, demonstrating proficiency in executing electrical projects in the field.
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to accurately assess project requirements during field operations.
- Effective problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
