GM Technician

As a GMC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of GMC vehicles to ensure they are operating at peak performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on GMC vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential problems and provide recommendations to customers.
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GMC technical bulletins, recall information, and repair procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Provide accurate documentation of repairs, services, and parts used in the dealership’s management system.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Uphold high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with GMC vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
