Shift Needed: 2-2-3 schedule (Night Shift)

Job Type:
  • Full time.
  • Hourly, non-exempt, non-commissioned, non-supervisory position.
  • Looking to hire immediately.
  • General labor opportunity for the right production worker.

Role Summary:The packer is responsible for preparing the slit rolls for shipment to the customer. This role is expected to report all safety-related problems while observing plant safety rules like safe forklift operation. As well as be able to troubleshoot any problems that would arise. This team member will help maintain productivity on the slitter machine and keep their work area in an orderly manner. We believe that working together in a spirit of mutual respect and goodwill will make employment with Fres-co System USA, Inc. a productive and fulfilling experience for us all

Other Job Responsibilities:
  • Cut cores.
  • Wrap and secure finished goods to pallets.
  • Write up and attach pallet labels and pallet tickets.
  • Weigh and stretch wrap finished pallets.
  • Box up finished pallets.
  • The stage finished pallets in finished goods location.
  • Dump all trim and scrap from slitters.

Qualifications:
  • Forklift certification.
  • Use of pallet jacks.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Repetitive standing, walking, squatting and bending.
  • Repetitive climbing onto the forklift.
  • Lifting requirement of over 50 lbs.

Education:
  • High School or equivalent (Required).
