We are an innovative Last Mile Delivery Box Truck start up that is looking for a driver that shows ambition, is a quick learner and can adapt to a fast pace environment. This is not just a job, this position will be part of our core team which has potential for growth within the company. 

A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a clean background check going back 10 years  (misdemeanors and felonies) is requirement. Must have 5 years driving experience and 2 year of INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE with appliances and households goods is a MUST. Your job duties will include loading and unloading delivery items, operating a box truck, installation of household appliances, cleaning and maintaining equipment. Lift-gate experience is a plus. 

Customer Service is one of our top priorities as our customers expect their goods to arrive on time, in good condition with smooth and efficient installations, so you must be able to work independently and manage you and your partner's time well. A commercial driver’s license is not required for this position. This job does not require long haul and you will work 10 -12 hours per day/4 days per week. 1099 Pay with the opportunity to work more than 40 hours when available. 

Box Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule
  • Deliver or pick up items as instructed on time
  • Load and unload vehicle 
  • Installation of household appliances and goods 
  • Document deliveries or log other shipment information
  • Delivery Confirmation logging 
  • Follow DOT regulations

Box Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 2 years truck driving experience 
  • 1 year installation experience
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record 
  • At least 21 years old
  • Must pass a background check and drug test (Background check goes back 10 years and cannot have misdemeanors or felonies within the last 10 years) 
  • Able to install household appliances (washer/dryer, refrigerator, stove, etc.)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs. and work in all weather conditions 
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
