Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing scheduling, dispatching drivers/vehicles, and ensuring efficient operations while maintaining excellent communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, or equipment based on customer needs and priorities.
  • Monitor routes and traffic to ensure timely deliveries and adjust plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and team members to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedules, assignments, and any service changes.
  • Use dispatch software to track deliveries, monitor performance, and manage schedules.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide updates on deliveries and service times.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management software (e.g., Truckstop, McLeod, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive situations.
  • Knowledge of local and long-distance routes is a plus.
