Beacon Technologies is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Microsoft Dynamics Developer I for our client partner. Candidates will participate on a team to develop and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement (CE) platform and related applications. This position requires a strong understanding of quality software delivery, internal and external customer needs, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Since this position will deal with technical personnel and business stakeholders, and participate in project teams, strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed.
  • The role’s primary responsibility supporting the development, maintenance, and deployment of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.
  • Must understand and conceptualize applications from both a technical/programming perspective and a business point of view.
  • Perform all or part of the software development life cycle, CI/CD, and follow an Agile methodology.
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and installing to support an organization's application systems.
  • Gather data and analyze business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end-users.
  • Analyze business application requirements for functional business areas.
  • Gather business requirements and develop specifications for software solutions.
  • Interview project stakeholders, document findings, and make detailed recommendations.
  • Able to develop database objects and structures for data storage, retrieval, and reporting according to project specifications.
  • Design and develop back-end database interfaces for web, e-commerce, & cloud services.
  • Analyze organizational data requirements and create logical and physical data flow models.
  • Address data quality issues with clients and management.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Provide third-level application support for any help desk tickets that cannot be answered by the Help Desk or Application Analyst staff.
  • Write code and debug software applications.
  • Write IT test plans and execute IT & Business created test plans.
  • Develop software prototypes.
  • Implement system configurations and enhancements.
  • Serve as a model and mentor to IT-Co-op developers and other developers that are less experienced.
  • Stay on top of industry changes, recommendations, and implement industry best practices.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or better in Software Engineering or related field.
  • Languages such as C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Familiar with data modeling tools and methodologies, and knowledgeable in database system applications and stored procedures.
  • Familiar and experienced with major enterprise database programs such as SQL Server or cloud data storage.
  • A thorough understanding of relational database practices.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a part of a development team working on small, medium, large, and enterprise projects.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement (Sales, Service, Marketing) experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an application development position.
Preferred:
  • Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Integration experience.
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodology.
