Talis Group is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal for a full-time position at our client's Louisville, KY office. This role involves providing comprehensive support to two partners and two associates. Benefits Include 100% employer-paid health care benefits, Short and long-term disability insurance, and Paid parking. Other benefits include Firm matching 401(k), 3 weeks of paid time off, and 2.5 hours of flex time per pay period.

Highlighted Responsibilities:
  • Request and summarize medical and various other records.
  • Prepare materials and exhibits for pleadings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Conduct research and collaborate with expert witnesses.
  • Assist clients in gathering documents for discovery.
  • Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including trial.
  • Handle highly sensitive information with discretion and attention to detail.

Highlighted Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, with a preference for candidates experienced in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, OneDrive, Outlook, PACER, and CourtNet.
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work closely with other staff as needed.
