Job Summary:
O'Fallon Buick GMC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our service team. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform oil changes and filter replacements on various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Inspect and replace fluid levels, including engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, brake fluid, and power steering fluid.
  • Rotate, balance, and inspect tires for wear and proper inflation.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and advise service advisors of any issues that require attention.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Ensure proper disposal of used oil and filters in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist other technicians and service staff as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar automotive maintenance role is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, such as tires and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
