Drayage Broker/Agent (W2 Position) Needed

GetCarrier LLC is a leading logistics and transportation firm specializing in drayage and intermodal services. We are dedicated to providing top-notch logistics solutions and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced Drayage Broker/Agent to join our dynamic team. 

Position Overview:
As a Drayage Broker/Agent at GetCarrier LLC, you will be essential in managing and coordinating drayage operations. Your role will include negotiating rates, building and maintaining client and carrier relationships, and ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods.
This is a W2 position with a competitive salary and bonus structure. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Brokerage Operations: Manage drayage logistics, including booking and coordinating loads, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery. 
• Client Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers. Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly. 
• Rate Negotiation: Negotiate rates and terms with carriers and clients to ensure competitive pricing and profitability. 
• Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and customs paperwork. 
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to shipments, such as delays, damages, or lost cargo. 
• Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies.  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a drayage broker/agent or in a similar logistics role. 
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of drayage operations, port procedures, and intermodal transportation. 
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in logistics software. 
• Language: Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level (upper-intermediate).  

Compensation:  

• Salary: $60,000 per year 
• Bonus: 8% performance-based bonus
