Responsibilities:
  • Case consults as needed by licensed staff - add to the chart notes
  • Clinical Supervision (pre-licensed staff) - document as appropriate
  • Oversee Clinical Supervisors and clinical work at a location
  • CWS or other breach reviews
  • Safety concerns and how they are managed 
  • Support Supplies Needs
  • Reference Operations Manual (Google Docs) for current policies and procedures and suggest changes as needed 
  • Mail: check mailbox regularly and discard junk mail, process any snail mail
  • Email: communicate with the team in a timely and effective way; respond to non-urgent items within 72 hours or sooner when possible (often) 
  • Text messages: available via Text from clinical staff for emergent matters and respond in a timely way (rarely)
  • Manage Staff Schedules (Google Docs)
  • Review and approve notes of new licensed staff for the first 90 days for licensed staff (pre-licensed sent to clinical supervisors) 
  • Ongoing training support for staff and ensuring office policies are followed 
  • Conduct staff performance 90-day reviews 
  • Conduct annual performance reviews 
  • Approve time off, schedule change requests processing, sick time
  • Hiring (varied hours per onboarding) (schedule with current onboarded/trainer) 
  • Interview, hire, and onboard new staff to the location when staffing needs required

Qualifications Experience:
  • Providing direct care, and outpatient psychotherapy for all ages and loving this work: 2+ years (Required)
  • Willingness to work with couples
  • Experience with military populations (preferred) 
  • Ability to clinically supervise and be 2+ years post-licensure (required) 
  • Team player (required) 
  • Bilingual (preferred)
  • Telehealth experience (required) 
  • Prior management experience of licensed clinicians
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Available as needed for urgent matters as a salaried leader 
  • Experience as an effective outpatient provider

Grow Through Life CounselingAt Grow Through Life Counseling, our clinical leaders work in leadership for their location in both administrative and direct care capacities to ensure operations run smoothly. The duties of our clinical leader include managing clinical, professional, administrative, and support team staff; development of, and appraisal of clinical staff; overseeing day-to-day management; developing and implementing policies and directives; setting and monitoring budgets; attending meetings; handling communications; and purchasing decisions. 40+ hours per week onsite.
