Job Position: Mobile Phlebotomist or CMA (Watauga, Iredell, Catawba and Burke Counties).

Job Details:
- We are in need of part-time mobile medical examiners to perform physicals for insurance companies, home blood draws, and corporate wellness screenings.
- This is an independent contractor position so you set your own hours.
- Payment is per applicant based on services provided.
- Pay is based on experience.
- Coverage is needed in the following counties: Catawba and Burke Counties, NC.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Be able to obtain vital signs.
- Mobile examiners must have reliable transportation (with proof of insurance and valid driver's license).
- Must have a cell phone, valid email address, fax and/or scanner, computer.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- All applicants are required to have an in-person interview at our Greensboro, NC, location.
- Education Preferred: Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
Work Experience Preference:
- Experience in phlebotomy
- Medical terminology
- The ability to take accurate vital signs
- Record accurate medical history
- EKG experience is preferred, but not required
Skills:
- All examiners are required to be proficient in phlebotomy with at least 100 successful venipuncture in the last 1 year.
- Have legible handwriting, and be familiar with medical terminology.
- They must have the knowledge and ability to prepare specimens for transport.
- Be able to perform an EKG, and be familiar with HIPAA rules and regulations.
- An outgoing personality, the ability to provide meticulous attention to detail, dependability, and the willingness to learn are the keys to be a successful mobile examiner.
- As a mobile examiner, you must be organized.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Able to work with no supervision.
Duties:
- You set your own hours, but morning and early evening availability is essential.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, which includes detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.
- Traveling to specified locations to draw blood samples as required.
