Operating Room Registered Nurse

- Has been practicing actively as an RN in an acute or long-term setting for at least the last two years.
- Is capable of providing complex and comprehensive nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients.
- Has and maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications.
- Has no health or physical disability restrictions that interfere with performance of assigned duties.
- Specialty Registered Nurse: Includes Operating Room, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department, Psychiatric, etc.
- Has all credentials and certifications as required for the Registered Nurse position.
- Assists other staff in discharging patients as needed.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Holds a diploma, Associate of Science or from an NLN accredited program, college, or university and holds a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any State.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited university is preferred.
- Shall be a United States Citizen.
- Shall not have been convicted of a felony.
- Shall be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Shall be able to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft applications, such as Explorer, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. so as to efficiently create and/or utilize an Electronic Medical Record.
