Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and minor component fabrication.
- Knowledgeable in basic hand tools and proper use.
- Knowledgeable of the proper inspection, removal, installation, alignment, and lubrication of bearings, gears, belts, and chains.
- Must be willing and able to work with heavy equipment when needed.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair the following: electrical systems, hydraulic systems, various cylinders, valves, accumulators, pumps, and the numerous hydraulic fluids used in these systems.
- Perform assignments in a timely manner.
- Work autonomously or act as an effective team member, exhibiting good interpersonal skills.
- Provide quality communications to internal customers (verbal, written, and telephone).
- Learn and work in accordance with procedures and instructions. Policies, safety, environmental, and security rules and guidelines.
- Must be comfortable working at heights.

Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions:
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 7-10 years of millwright experience, preferred.
- Experience working with/repairing conveyor systems preferred.
- Experience reading schematics preferred.
- Check/Wiring 480v 3phase experience preferred.
- Preferred experience or coursework in maintenance principles and machine repair practices.
- Good mechanical aptitude and math skills.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair the following: electrical systems, hydraulic systems, various cylinders, valves, accumulators, and pumps, and the numerous hydraulic fluids used in these systems.
- Strong analytical skills and theoretical background in mechanical systems.
- Strong team player.
- Industry experience in scrap and metal preferred.
- Excellent written, organization, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and the ability to weld are strongly preferred.

- Walking: Frequent walking throughout the facility both indoors and outdoors and on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery.
- Carrying: Occasional carrying of light objects.

- Bending: Occasional bending during production support.
- Reaching: Frequent reaching with hands and arms.
- Handling: Occasional handling of parts or tools.
- Specific vision includes close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate tools, fasteners, parts, tools, etc.
- Lift products and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. occasionally).
- Must be willing to work outside in the elements on equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work at heights.
- Physically able to participate in sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Work Hours:
- Monday through Friday with a 40+ hour workweek, Saturdays as scheduled.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
